Any ideas how to print Amazon labels from Zebra Thermal Printer

Hi, can anyone help. I am now buying shipping from Amazon to help my VTR. We have purchased a Zebra GK420d Thermal printer but cannot work out how to send the label to the printer as when I click the Buy Shipping, the box comes up for me to choose from Royal Mail either 1st class, 2nd class. I choose the 2nd class option always and it won’t give me the option to print to my new Zebra printer. It just prints automatically to my old printer. We have spent hours looking at Amazon Tutorials but cannot find out how to do this. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Doesn’t it give you an option to ‘choose printer’? If not go into your computer settings and change to the Zebra as the default, hopefully that will work for you.

Have you downloaded the drivers ?

One thing you can check is to see if the printer is in Control Panel > Devices & Printers.

If it isn’t there, you will need to install the printer drivers.
You can usually find them on the companies website.

If it is there, right click on the printer and “set to default”, and see if that works.

If you’re on a Mac, I found this really helped - https://www.peninsula-group.com/mac-thermal-printer-driver/
It’s an additional cost, but made the setup easier.

If not on a Mac, then as others have suggested, you need to install drivers then it should show up under printers.

Thanks guys, we have managed to select the GK420d printer as default printer for labels. We are trying to print 4x6 labels but we only get the option on the Royal Mail Buy Shipping, to choose 3.5x5 labels or 6x4 with packing slip and and A4 option. We have tried the 6x4 with packing slip but nothing printed. Not sure how to get any other options. x

This is all I get when I go to print. It automatically prints I don’t get any options to print selectable area then the order goes into shipped. W

Yes, we have done that and nothing opens up as a pdf, nothing opens up but when I switch back to my oki (where i usually print from) it prints no problem
