Buy shipping broken?

Just attempting to buy shipping for a small book, standard size, same as I’ve repeatedly sent. Suddenly there’s “no delivery service available”. Anybody else finding it broken?

Just tried to buy shipping on a standard item we sell a lot of - same result -
Based on your inputs or preferences, no delivery services were available. Delivery services shown ignore your preferences. If none are shown, there are no delivery services available for this order.

All our preference are as they have been for some time so it seems back to RM on line purchasing until this gets sorted

What exactly is this please. I can see multiple buttons on the shipment area. None makes sense to me

I mean why would I want to ‘buy shipment’ when I am a royal mail business customer. Is amazon postage cheap?

NOTE - Buying RM postage through Amazon will not record the 2D Barcode - This will still be printed on your postage label, but Amazon will not record it. You can, however, manually record this tracking reference yourself.

I hope this helps those not in the know…

Amazon - When purchased is cheaper then Postage Paid on www.royalmail.com, but you pay for the postage immediately.

RM Business account - Is cheaper still because discounts are applied depending on how much postage you generate and you are given 30 days to pay on receipt of monthly invoice.

Many of us are oba customers. You are talking about over the counter postage and confusing me and misleading others!!

OBA is cheaper by around 30pence. Amazon cannot match that.

I am still waiting for one credible reason why we should purchase postage from amazon because all three reasons from penelope is just repetition saying that dispatch mails and tracking details would come and payment from seller account which is all not a big deal because when I enter details everything is automatically sent out to the customer. I also prefer monthly postage payments, easy to calculate expenses. Oba mail goes in one bag, post office offers tracking in our books in one go.

You are used to everyone agreeing with you. Sorry I’m not here to agree or disagree with anyone. I merely speak of my experience. I haven’t said anything but that it is confusing me and misleading everyone else because oba customers would do better with royal mail. Actually I could perceive your response as insulting but I choose not to as I can see the misunderstanding here.

There is no credible reason why amazon postage is better for royal mail business customers. Oba customer get their goods gone in one bag and their postbooks signed in one go. A click dispatch sends out information to buyers, there is no need for amazon shipping purchase to do that.
