Read onlyWe are a Seller Fulfilled Prime Seller and are currently getting the following message when use BUY SHIPPING in the Amazon Screen -
Error occurred while purchasing a label. Please try with a different delivery method.
This is for a London E5 address so very reachable by Royal Mail who is the carrier selected.
As you know, Use of Buy Shipping Services for at least 98% of Prime orders is a MUST.
Has anyone else had this same problem and know the resolution please?
Nigel.
you have got track 24… so what is the problem?
We find this quite often, usually just click off it and then try again, or a couple of times and it works.
Happens fairly frequently. Refresh the page or go out of the order and back in usually resolves the issue.
Just change something like the weight amount and put it back again and it will refresh the page happens a lot although I have found it less often recently but still annoying
Hi Nigel - yes I have experienced the same and if I leave the page and come back in it sometimes works the second time around! Hopefully it will for you if you refresh and try again! : )
Hi, We have been encountering this problem eveyr day for the last week, we only ship about 50 or so SFP a day, we use royal mail , the other option showing for ourselves is DPD who we do not use, . However the system normally resets after a few minutes m try clicking on any other option ( dpd) then back to royal mail, tha normally clears the problem, or wait a few minutes and try again, Failn that a message to selle-performance letting know will stop any negative metrics shutting you down, we have had to do this twice, and Amazon have been more than happy to remove any bad metrics,
A good show from Amazon
Hi
This is a known error between Royal Mail and Amazon
See my post when it first occured to us
It is to do with barcode allocation for the service. Royal Mail release them and Amazon apply them. I would suggest contacting your Royal Mail account manager to add you to the list of affected users and also raise the issue with Amazon seller support.
The issue is that you have to select signed for, then it works - its been like this for a week or so
I think it’s just system overload. I have the same issue but just refresh the page and it comes back. Also the package settings drop out occasionally too.
No problem just a short lag. It all works fine.
Thanks everyone, I did a test choosing signature required and yes it worked.
I would rather amazon fix it than us having to pay for a signature which we know we currently wont get anyway.
On a slightly seperate issue, does anyone find it annoying that the Order Number, QTY and SKU is not printed on the Amazon Label? The fields are present but not data. It would be nice for picking the order to see what the customer has ordered on that label.
