Buy Shipping/VTR - Preferences?
Like many sellers this week, I recieved notification that VTR exemption will only be applied when shipping is purchased through Amazon, so I have begun using ‘Buy Shipping’ to send all my orders - Everything is going through fine, I’m just wondering why I am getting these two notifications when I purchase - to the right hand side of the screenshot - ‘the carrier selected does not offer the confimation method in your preferences’ & ‘the carrier selected does not offer the insurance selected in your preferences’
Are these something I need to be concerned about?
Will they affect my VTR (or the exemption)?
I’m not even sure where I would find these ‘preferences’ in my seller central?
Can anyone help/advise please? Thanks in advance

So, first of all any shipping purchased through Buy Shipping is automatically fine for VTR.
Second, what shipment type are you using? Is it a Large Letter service? If so, you don’t need to change how you’re operating as the update only affects Letter post (or possibly people using Franking, it’s unclear as they’ve edited Franking out of the announcement).

I would check your buy shipping preferences and see what you have selected there for insurance and confirmation.
However as you are buying signed for letters you shouldn’t need to change, as you have a tracking number.
The change only affects those of us posting with an untrackable method (like standard 2nd class letter, not signed for)

Thanks for the responses, I do send a large number via standard 2nd class letter as well (untracked), as well as some Large letters.
I have checked my Buy Shipping preferences, and both Insurance & Confirmation have ‘None’ selceted - is this correct?

Thanks guys, you’ve been really helpful
No, the warnings are still there for standard 2nd class letters as well
