Charged for Prepaid Returns Label but item not Returned
Amazon has introduced free returns for clothing items and sellers are being charged £3.30 per return at the point where the customer requests a return.
However if they do not return the item this cost is still charged to the seller which is nonsense.
There also is a valid list of reasons for free returns including sizing issues which again is wrong that there is a free returns label when buyers fail to check the size chart correctly!!

the labels should only be charged once the buyer has returned the item as it gets charged when the label has a scan
if they are not arriving back with you , you need to check the tracking and contact Hermes

I was under the impression that fashion was free returns regardless now, but in any event you are not supposed to be charged until the label is actually used.

What are you seeing, that makes you think you have been charged prior to the return being shipped back to you. Note I say Shipped, not received by you.
The label is charged upon first scan, so if you are seeing the charge, then it is on its way back.

Hi,
I am having an issue with this also for damaged items which i dont want the customer to return as amazon are chargin nearly 4 times for a return label than i paid for postage oirginally. Is there a way to remove this?
Customer has been told not to return but i cant refund them unless i also do this charge too
