Hello
I sold an item on Amazon, shipped on 8th February. Took a couple of weeks when customer messaged saying tracking shows delivered but she hadn’t received it. I filled out a query form (on their behalf) and let them know I’d done so. Again 2 weeks later they message saying they haven’t received it or received a delivery card from postie. Although I’d have thought lack of red card saying attempted delivery would be mentioned the first time. They’re still not asking for a refund yet either, just asking if there are updates yet even though royal mail have their details…
I’ve had someone say the same thing before but when I brought up the query form they backed down saying its not worth it.
I don’t know what to do. Do I just wait for RM to confirm what has happened before refunding?
Have you checked the tracking yourself on the couriers website ?
You should be able to ring the depot and find out if its still there or not
Looks to me as if item scanned delivered but then postie found no one home so changed scan 1 minute later to attempted and when back at the sorting office that it was being held. they are holding items for around 5 to 6 weeks at the moment, but royal mail redelivery does not go that far back. i would do a general redelivery request for as far back as date will allow, on the royal mail website, and also tell buyer to check with sorting office, as post do not always leave cards and buyers do not always read them, but bin with other junk mail
If the item is at the sorting office, your claim wont be upheld anyway you’ll just get the item back so I would try and arrange the redelivery online for them and also check with the sorting office

LOOKS TO ME THAT THE CUSTOMER THAT, THE CUSTOMER HAS HAD A CHANGE OF
MIND AND NO LONGER WANTS THIS ITEM WHAT EVER IT WAS .
SO YOU SHOULD EVENTUALLY GET THE PARCEL BACK , FOR YOU TO RE-LIST FOR SALE. L Hughes Liverpool
the customer hasn’t received the item and you have the proof of this, because the tracking shows this.
I’m struggling to see what advice is needed
Was this a delivery within the UK or was it international? I experienced a similar message for an item but it was international and I’m not sure how missed deliveries work in other countries.
