Do i use the variation wizard or use a flat file
I am trying to create a listing for Copper Wire, the size of this Copper wire will all be the same for all variations but it will be sold in around 8 to 10 different lengths. I have been advised that the best way to do this is to create a flat file as (LENGTH) does not come up as a variation option, but i can create this option as a flat file… To cut a long story short how do I create a flat file and where do i create it. Do i do it within Amazon or do i create it externally. Is there a template to fill in.

You do not, just make sure you input “Partial_Update” in the Update Delete field and set it as a parent in the Parentage field.

Then scroll down and select Industrial (you might be able to download it from this link)
Then fill out all the relevant information. It can be a bit of a minefield, but the error report will give you the information needed if something isnt right.
