I'm well aware of the new policy with Amazon where they no longer reimburse the amount we WOULD have made if we sold through the site at the amount we needed to sell at to make....you know, EVERYTHING MAKE SENSE. With the costs of fees up, the costs of shipping up, the costs now implemented with product placement and god knows what else, I would absolutely expect Amazon to, at the very least, cover a product's cost to any seller. Especially if they were the ones that lost the items! In this case, a new company with products I started selling on Amazon, send thousands of dollars worth to them, all labeled and shipped by me, not the company. I sent using Amazon provided shipping labels and have invoices showing costs of the items sent in. They lost close to ALL of my products. Maybe 20% of all the items I sent in were checked in and listed. The rest were just lost, no rhyme or reason. They admitted to losing everything after I started a case and the refunds were nearly HALF of what I paid for the items. This doesn't include the amount I spent shipping them in, the fees they charged and now the time wasted going back and forth with these guys telling me simply "we will not be able to reimburse the amount" knowing full well the cost of the item was not even close to what they reimbursed me. They don't tell me WHERE they get the amount they reimbursed, nor do they give me a valid reason why they aren't reimbursing me the amount that is the cost of the item, which is purchased direct from the manufacturer, no matter how many times I respond and state that THEIR policy says they reimburse the cost of the item with proof of invoice. What is going on? They keep pushing that goal of a "good and safe selling experience on Amazon" farther and farther away. And I've done nothing wrong! :(
