Error message when trying to list first product

Hi all, I am very new here and trying to make some kind of income after a horrible year.

I have the product but unable to list on amazon, and getting very anxious how to proceed. I have purchased GS1 certificate and attached it to the case, however error messages keep popping out and I am unable to list my product.

Pretty upset amazon has chat only option rather than a phone number.
Anyone knows how to proceed?

Thank you so much,

What is the error?

How long ago did you register?
Are you fully verified yet?
Are you trying to list in a restricted category?
Does the item not have a barcode already?

Do you really think Amazon have the staff to take you and other new sellers through the basics of listing and selling on here? You should read the Seller University advice that you can find from your seller account page

New sellers will come under the 3 ASIN check where Amazon’s bot will select 3 of your listed ASIN’s and ask you to supply your invoices and possibly letter of authorisation from the brand. The invoice has to be from the manufacture, licenced distributor or a wholesaler that is acceptable by Amazon (Costco, Makro, majority of Alibaba won’t be accepted). If you are buying from Alibaba you need to be dealing direct with the manufacturer not a middle man. The manufacturer need to be VAT registered and be registered on their equivalent to UK’s Company House. You need to check that you have the necessary safety documents depending on the product and category. Your item with be going round a babies neck !!! All this you have to find out, Amazon won’t do the work for you, even if they allow you to list it they expect you to have done the checks and have the relevant certification, paperwork, safety measures etc.

You cannot just buy random cheap things from China or anywhere else without doing due diligence

Ok so:

  1. is your account fully verified?
  2. is it a business account?
  3. do you have all the relevant insurance?
  4. do you have a proper invoice for those products with all the requirements Amazon will want - website, address, company number etc?
  5. have you gone through the seller university?

Until the answer is yes to all of the above, I think you will struggle to get any further help from people on here as you need to manage the basics yourself and then ask for help when you get properly stuck
