Hello - We have just processed a refund for a customer who claims that a package was stolen from their doorstep. The customer has then contacted us asking to send the refund direct to a different bank account outside of the platform. We are unable to do that as it won't show the correct way through the platform and also there are obviously fee's to be refunded for us. The guys obviously going to put a complaint in and I don't know what to suggest to him to put it right? We have contact Amazon customer services who haven't been particularly helpful and said that our refund was successful so in theory we have done our bit. One thing I would say is we haven't had an email saying the refund has initiated?

Any ideas anyone and moderators?

There is a tracking number showing the return is on the way back. Why and who at amazon decided to magically refund a customer when it hasn't even been delivered back to me? who would do this and why? seriously WHY?

Normally a seller will receive the return back and then issue a refund, failure to do so would obviously lead to amazon initiating a refund.

We had a customer recently who thought she was buying a 24*6 ruler where as the advert clearly states in Pictures and words that the ruler is 6*6. Order id number 204-1245493-6305926

She initiated a return and was granted and autoauthorised before we could do anything. The item has arrived back with us and I went to check the refund had all gone through.

This had gone through on the package being picked up which is fair enough but the return postage has been charged to my account.

I presume this is because she stated that we had sent the wrong ruler even with the description and picture of the ruler right in the refund section.

I have contacted seller support case id 9970042002 and have been told this is amazon policy which i am fairly sure it is not as this is a customer at fault return which she should pay for.

What is my next route.
