Help Needed Please Problem with My Listing

I have a product which have been selling on amazon for over 5 years now. Its a costume dress with 5 Variations. Just recently I noticed that The Parent ASIN is no longer together with The Child ASINS leaving the 5 Child Asins scattered. But when i go into amazon page like i want to place an order, I still see the parent listing but when i click on it, it shows product unavailable. I checked in my inventory list when i click on the parent ASIN, I get this message: This SKU has an inconsistent product classification with the ASIN. Please submit a feed to update this SKU to match the ASIN product classification.

Has anyone else experienced this? Please how did you reconcile the parent ASIN With the Child?
Amazon advised that i delete the Parent ASIN and then relist it with the child Asins We have lots of product reviews on this product and do not want to loose them by creating new listing Im confused on what to do Please your help is needed here!
