Help with set-up
Hi, I’m totally new to selling and Amazon also. I am selling original art as framed prints (wall art).
I am trying to just basically set up my account but it’s incredibly complex (it seems). First it stumped me with GTIN exemptions and codes and I can’t find where to add my listings. I am on Etsy and that’s so much simpler. How do I start to sell on Amazon?

You really need to take time to learn at least the very basics of Amazon

Amazon isn’t like Etsy or Ebay where you can basically slap on what you want within 2 mins. There are a lot of hoops to jump through first but if you take your time follow the procedures and guidelines you can have a very successful time on Amazon depending on your product. I know new sellers want to get selling on Amazon immediately but that is where some new sellers make mistakes and get suspended and then have the stress of going through the appeals procedure.
I would also spend time looking through the sellers forum to see the problems other sellers have encountered, some are real horror stories but don’t let that put you off there are hundreds of thousand small sellers on here being very successful. I can show you some of the pitfalls that some have fallen into and how to avoid being in the same situation
