How Amazon fulfills FBA Orders
Hi All,
I am certain that I have read that when you send stock to Amazon FBA they will distribute the stock around distribution centers in order to fulfill orders in a short turn around time. Once you receive an order they may use any FBA stock in order to fulfill the order.
Am I right in thinking if I receive an FBA order Amazon may pull someone else’s stock which is closer to the customer so they can fulfill? So the physical product which arrives at the customer may not be one I have ever sent in?

As long as you don’t commingle your inventory, therefore use Amazon’s FNSKU barcodes rather than the manufacturer EAN codes, the stock will not be mixed with other seller’s items.
