I'm not good at math, please help?
I want to give a buyer a part refund of £4.55.
How does it work out best meneywise for me: to deduct it from postage, or from item’s price?
(in this case the postage was £4.62).
Which will make me recover more money via return of fees?

Bloomin 'eck …for £4.55 you could refund in full and not lose a night’s sleep!
If not, you are selling on the wrong platform.

Say I have a combined order of 4 collectibles by the same buyer (4 orders), totalling £120 (this also really happened).
The buyer will only buy if she can have the 4 for £90, and I’m glad to get rid of the things to the same safe/decent-sounding customer (who indeed then left me 4 enthusiastic feedbacks).
5% of the £30 refund (5% = the difference between say 20% for the 1 and 15% for the other) is £6, which is like a small order’s profit - not nothing to me, when for no trouble at all, just knowing which one to click…

Of course it works differently for merchants / businesses and FBA sellers - I’m an individual seller, there are several different fees - and tax…
But never mind
