Increase in customers returning orders without paperwork
Has anyone noticed that since the Royal Mail returns labels were updated customers seem to be assuming that they don’t need to include any returns paperwork (ie RMA numbers or original orders)?
They seem to be assuming that the barcode or reference numbers on the returns labels are enough to process the returns.
I’ve got a spreadsheet full of dates and product details for when customers inevitably chase us for their refund!

Yes, we’ve found this as well.
Pro-tip - if you keep the Return Authorisation emails from Amazon, they contain the Royal Mail tracking number for the return. When the parcel finally rolls up you can compare the tracking number on it to your email collection to identify it.
