Italian Marketplace Suspended Due to Amazon VAT Complaint
Hi,
Our selling privileges have been suspended in the Amazon Italy Marketplace due to Amazon saying we are not compliant with Italian VAT filling requirements.
Our VAT number is verified on Amazon, is identifiable on the VIES database and we have paid all our Italian VAT bills on time.
Our international VAT is being handled by AVASK who is an Amazon partner and they too seem a bit confused as what is going on. Apparently none of their have managed to resolve this issue either.
We have opened several appeals with Amazon but none have been successful.
Has anyone experienced this issue before? And do you know how we can resolve this ourselves?

Have you had dialogue with Amazon VAT services and AVASK together about this?
My first port of call would be with Amazon VAT services as I assume they will know it is connected with your AVASK account and they should be able to sort it out between them.
Just to add, please do not use Amazon general seller support, make sure you use the link that will phone Amazon VAT registration services. Unusually, I personally find speaking to them on the phone is quite good as long as they are specialised in the VAT registration department.
