Limited access to Amazon Selling Services
Hi everyone,
We used to sell on Amazon till 2 years ago, then put our seller account on hold for a while. We decided to activate it again 6 weeks ago, changed our company name and address in seller central and submitted all the documents that were requested. The Amazon Payment Team have emailed us twice in the last month saying they are reviewing our information, that they are working hard to complete verification and will contact us as soon as they are done.
What is not clear to us is whether we can start selling in the meantime or not. This is what we read in our Seller Account Information:
“You currently have limited access to Amazon Selling Services. Your information is currently being validated. Once we have received and been able to validate your data, we can open your Selling on Amazon payment account. New seller? You can start listing your products in parallel”.
Does “you can start listing your products in parallel” mean we can list and sell? And that maybe Amazon will retain our money till verification is completed? Does anybody know where we could find this information in the Amazon terms and conditions? We asked Seller Support, their answer was not clear, they did not say either yes or no. We asked again emphasising whether we could start selling or not due to the “you can start listing your products in parallel” we read on our seller account information, again they did not say either yes or no.
We tried to send/replenish inventory and create a shipping plan (FBA), everything looks normal, the system lets us go forward till the Complete shipment button. We did not confirm the shipment though as we are not sure we can.
Many thanks for any help you can offer.

You can sell, I’m sure, but not withdraw any disbursement.
(The ‘Payments Account’ is a separate entity who do the payouts, it seems like it’s this which is your hold-up).

you are in effect a new seller and need to close the previous company/account down before opening a new one with permission from Amazon. As it is now, you are very likely not pass verification as you are now deemed a different legal entity; so if you are allow to sell, it is unlikely that you will see any money at all until verification completed which can be a few months if passed in your case.

We are a new seller with the same message. We sent stock into warehouses which is now stranded and our listings are not live - so no, we cannot sell at all. Not even SFP items which we have now de-listed.

They are taking so long to verify my account but continuously charging the monthly professional fee. We can list products but when we open the product, we don’t see ourselves as a seller. I don’t know what’s going on with Amazon. 2 months have passed but verification is still under process and we are just paying monthly charges for no service!
