Listing Removed - Transparency 2D barcode Required
A new one one us.
We received notification overnight of a listing removal as permission is required - nothing particularly unusual in that.
However when we’ve reviewed the permissions page Amazon state they are want ‘Transparency 2D barcode Required’ x5 of them with pic taken and images uploaded. We’ve never seen a Transparency Code on this or any other stock and it’s a bit tough if you do have the appropriate label but only a stock inventory of say x4.
We’ve also checked the product page and Amazon and Amazon Warehouse are now the only sellers of the item, so the same mailing as clearly affected all other MPS.
Any thoughts please as to re-instatement of the stock so it’s live?
TIA

is it a branded product ?
if so, have you checked whether or not the Brand have instigated the requirement of Transparency labels

Saw a notice somewhere about this a few weeks ago, it is a new way for brand rights owners to authenticate the products - the notice we had was on a Generic product, so should not have been allowed, however Amazon have allowed it, and its just another Generic product we are no longer able to sell. I don’t think you will be able to re-instate the stock from what I have read, as basically what Amazon now believe is that without the transparency barcode the product is fake.
At least with us we were informed this was going to happen, and given 30 days notice to comply before enforcement.
