Many Technical Problems

Is it just us? Just about every tool and interface seems broken in one way or another for the past several days and weeks. All started with incorrect images that are not of the products appearing on our listings. This culminated in a number of actions by us and a much higher use than normal to address this. However, just about every tool and interface is broken in one way or another and we’re going around in circles with support. Thanks

I’m not finding any of the issues you mention - all seem to be working fine. Can you be more specific on the tools you’re having issues with (apart from the images)?

Hi, For example cannot list directly on the listing page for variation products, having completed all the fields correcty we see a warning top right stating there are 62 errors to fix, see the red highlights but there are no red highlights visible.

Applying for GTIN exemption for None Branded/No EAN or OPC etc products requires Generic entered into a field on the exemptionapproval page. Told by support to enter Generic with quote marks that simply thinks it is a brand exemption case.

We are the only seller on all listings but in the background not visible to customers. This states 1 New and 1 Used, we only sell new.

When trying to have the incorrect images removed, CS say there are no images in the backend only the incorrect images. I can see our images in the backend and have sent screenshots to prove it, nothing done about it.

When listing with flat files other than various error it sometimes sates there is a conflict with an existing listing giving various reasons that makes no sense because the SKU and EAN we use are GS1 unique to us. It sometimes also states that the inventory is not avaliable but of course it is’nt we have completed the listing yet.

It isn’t just you! You’re not going crazy. As I have mentioned on previous threads, I began listing a few items on Amazon four years ago. No problems at all. Took a couple of hours to get set up. More recently I added a new product range. Total headache. Took weeks to get listings on. Disappearing images. Disappearing descriptions. Spoke to Seller Support more than I spoke to my own family for several weeks! I’ve come out of the other side now and everything is fine…but tbh if someone asked me how I got around some of the issues I would not be able to help, because there was no clear ‘answer’ to many of the difficulties. I am not confident that it won’t be the same all over again when I come to add my next new range later this summer! Sorry to be able to say anything of actual help, but thought I would empathise/sympathise so you know it probably isn’t anything (much) you have actually done wrong.

I’m experiencing a major technical issue at the moment.

I’m trying to edit my shipping settings but the ‘settings/shipping settings’ link just hangs and refuses to open.

Anyone else able to get into shipping settings?
Maybe there is an alternative route?

Clearing the cache made no difference.

I rarely check my shipping settings and I would assume that is the same for most sellers. Once the templates are set up there is seldom any need to change them.
I’m guessing therefore that I’m not the only one unable to access them

It would be good to know if anyone else is having the same problem.

…and/or if there is another way in other than settings/shipping? :thinking:

So far, three robotic replies followed by one that did at least appear to be from a human but still no resolution.

If anyone else here is using Firefox, can they confirm if they are able to open their shipping settings?

OK great not just me then. Variation listings showing incorrect images (or the same image across all variations), produt titles and text not updating, strange inventory counts and mistmatches. 6 years on Amazon and have never seen anything like the technical issues we’ve had these past few weeks. Hope it all gets fixed shortly.
