Might be a stupid question
IS IOSS and OSS only applicable for orders into the EU. So if we sell an item to someone in the USA via our website, does that now require an IOSS/OSS or is it as it has always been?
My understanding is IOSS/OSS is just for EU.
Anyone shipping to USA? Is it just the same as it was in 2020?

Yes IOSS is an EU creation so only applies when selling into the 27 EU member states. That’s why i’m investigating selling to other (non-EU) countries through my own site… done a couple to the US and Australia without too much hassle.

As I understand it, IOSS is for imports into the EU from non-EU countries, OSS is for transactions within the EU

We used to send a few to USA via our sites. I stopped when we shut down for Covid. Looking to switch it back on but am checking if any new surcharges from RM. I remember reading they added a fee or something.
