Multiple Amazon Accounts
Hi, just wondered if you are allowed to open another Amazon Seller Account under the same IP address ? The other Amazon seller account will be someone else running there business but on the same IP address. Much appreciate your help.

They need to have separate bank accounts, separate legal entities and not sell the same products
Most importantly, they both need to be in good standing so I wouldn’t risk my account helping someone else tbh
Presumably same ip address means family member or colleague ?!

Seeing the links that Amazon can make to accounts that people have no contact or knowledge of I wouldn’t play with fire knowingly creating a link with someone.
As Little Shop says, all it takes is for someone to claim fake (even if they’re genuine), too many negatives, bad vtr or any other 100 things than can go wrong and your could account get shut down while they sort it out.

If they have the same IP address, won’t they likely have the same postal address, too?

Yes same postal address but would this work under a different postal address.

Just wondered if you can get another IP address to one address if that makes sense. (Making it two separate IP addresses)

If it is just IP you will be fine, countless amounts of times I have been abroad in the last 10 years and used hotel/resort wifi and always been fine. To add, these are popular destinations that other Amazon sellers would have gone to. I believe it is the device being used too. If a single device was used to log into multiple amazon accounts via the same IP I think this is enough to warrant Amazon to create a link. You mention it is a separate business so I assume it will utilize its own kit?
