New account set up but lost all good menu options

Hello, I recently set up an account and have listed my items, had lots of great reporting tools, options to offer discounts etc, but that has now all disappeared? I also set my postage to FOC but Amazon changed it (after 3 weeks) to be the standard price for 2nd class postage and I can’t change it. I contacted Amazon through their awful case log menu but they tell me it’s because I don’t have a professional account? But how can they give it to me all in the beginning but not now? Very frustrating!

Sounds like you have downgraded to the individual selling plan which results in the loss of lots of tools.

Edit - just read part of your message that i missed first time. Did you start with the pro selling plan and then downgrade?

As the reply from Demel, setting your own shipping rates and other tools are all perks of paying the £30 a month fee for the Professional selling plan.
If you downgraded to the Individual (Basic) Selling Plan, then you have to go with the default shipping set by Amazon, for the category you sell in.

Hi, no I didn’t originally sign up for it, but I had all of the options there when I did sign up and have had them for a month? It’s just frustrating that I had those options then they were taken away!

Anybody can see from posts I have made in the past that I give very little credit to Amazon for practically everything they do. In this case , however , I don’t think the fault is with amazon. You do not appear to have done any research whatsoever. You need to read some of Amazons basic rules

Thanks for sharing your opinion, although maybe you should think before making such judgements. As I have said in my previous replies, I knew what I had signed up to, just frustrating to be given those options in the first place and have them taken away. What I wasn’t aware of that perhaps I was on a free trial :woman_shrugging:t3:
