Policy violation
Just a general moan
We listed a second hand book. The page existed. Amazon removed everything, and gave us a policy violation for selling too high (even though we were the only ones with the book). And Ta-dah! then we find that Amazon have it listed under a different ISBN because they are printing and selling it for stupid low money. Just another day in paradise.

Hi,
Maybe I’ve been lucky, but I’ve had lots of ‘Price Violations’ but never had a policy violation as a result
Can you share the ISBNs?
I had one scarce book which was ‘too costly’ because the Kindle price was £1.99

We had this recently, if you delete the ASIN from your inventory the high price policy violation disappears

Well, I switched my listings back on today and the ‘Violation of Amazon Marketplace Fair Pricing Policy’ warnings are starting to come in…four so far but I expect more will follow.
The fact that I have the only copies available on the internet appears not to count for anything.

I am once again seeing Amazon giving itself the buybox on lots of of Out of Print books with this message:
Temporarily out of stock.
Order now and we’ll deliver when available. We’ll e-mail you with an estimated delivery date as soon as we have more information. As an alternative, the Kindle Book is included with a Kindle Unlimited membership.
So, is this just a crafty way of Amazon pushing Kindle sales?
I note that the usual megasellers undercut Amazon’s phantom copy, resulting in a price crash.
