Possible fee issue/glitch?

Just sold an item with an unusually high fee and can see that other items i have with same price have much lower fee. £1.36 fee on item sold for £7.52 in health and beauty is not right. Might be wise for everyone to be checking their fees.

Looks right to me

£7.52 x 15% commision = £1.13
£1.13 x 20% VAT on sellers fee = £0.23
total fee £1.36

Sorry yes 8% under £10 and it was only a single they ordered. Will dig deeper on it.

Was there a postage charge? This may be included in the selling price to work out their fees, thus pushing you over the £10.00 threshold.

I had this with 2 ASINS - it was in H&B BUT if you go into the sale and click on the fees I saw the breakdown said 15% and Home & Kitchen! - I had had the category changed when the new fees came in as I noticed it was wrong back in June BUT i then presumed it was correct as it was correctly in the H&B category when you click as a buyer…

Open up a case - you will get this reply like me:

I understand your concern regarding incorrect fee charged.

Please provide following information

  • Marketplace of Asin

  • Total refund amount in EUR/GBP (2 decimal):

  • Affected ASINS:

  • Confirm that order(s) have been shipped:

  • Confirm that none of the Order(s) have been cancelled/refunded

  • Confirm that none of the Order(s) is older than 24 months (count from date the order was placed):

Please add your fee calculation :

NOTE : please provide all the information in Excel sheet .

We shall await your response on this case for the next 24/48 hours post which the case shall be shown as resolved automatically"
Thank you for your diligence in this matter.
We look forward to your response.

you need to go through your ASINS effected back to june and make a spread sheet basically
ORDER NUMBER, ORDER SALE AMOUNT, FEE @15% FEE @8% DIFFERENCE OWED

It took a month to get the fee back £78 but I also removed units until they changed the actual fee to 8% which took about a week

Just had an FBA order that confirmed in Payments, but I was overcharged on the FBA fee… so sent a case to amzn…

Please describe your Issue
203-015**-*********

Commission (Referral Fee): -£0.88
FBA fulfilment fee per unit (FBA Rate): -£4.01
Total Fee - £4.89

According to Manage Inventory - the Fees Should be;

Referral fee -£0.88
Other fees £0.00
FBA rates -£2.05
Total fee - £2.93

So you have overcharged the fee for this order.

Please reimburse £1.96 to Seller Balance

I’ve just sold a book for £2.65 and shipping £2.80 (the shipping will cost £3.10. The amazon fees are £2.48! So that means I’ve made a loss on it. I’m sure that’s not usually the case. Anybody any idea why the fee is that much? Thanks, Helen
