Problem Listing Item-Error Code 5665
HI All,
I have been trying to get our company up and running on Amazon, Keep getting the error message 5665 appearing,
We have requested exemption and taken various pictures from different angles with the company branding on the box clearly shown etc,
Taken products out the box and held then and put them on the bench next to the branded packaging but we still get declined,
Have registered the business on Amazon with no issue.
I had Amazon call me today and they went through the case and were puzzled as to why as they could see the images and have gone back to the relevant department but dont know what else we can do.
We see others in the industry with products similar and they are on Amazon but must be dong something wrong.
Its led decking lights been selling them on ebay for over 10yrs and to the public for 20yrs.
Its our own brand we dont have a barcode on the box which is why we require the exemption.

that error code is for a brand mismatch
did you apply for the exemption to use your Brand Name ?
If so, have you applied for either Brand Registry or Brand Approval ?

we have tried for brand approval and yes to use our Brand Name.

We have tried to be approved, sent in various images even the warehouse showing the thousands of boxes on the racking.
Don’t know what else we can do?

I spoke with our accounts who provided all the relevant HMRC codes and all been put on the account and ok,
The accounts all up and running fine just this issue,
The issue is they say the images do not show the brand permanently fixed however the box itself shows in large letters the branding name of the company so totally confused as to why they say this,
they said to list using generic in the brand name but still the same issue unless i’m doing something wrong?
all i want to do is list our product nothing else so at a loss

its a cardboard box with the branding name highlighted in different ink not a sticker
they went through an interview
and regarding HMRC entered codes required and that came back verified
every time we get a response back from amazon as to to the issue its changed
we carry out what they require but then another issue

Images of the product and packaging, which shows branding on either. The images can show the product and packaging when either held in hand or placed on a table. The branding must be permanently affixed.
That is just one of the replies
We sent images of the box with the permanent branding on, the contents removed and placed next tp the branded box and still not good enough

We could, I’m new to Amazon side of things so would be unsure how to go about it.
I’m trying to open the platform for the company with myself in charge of it but it just keeps hitting a brick wall with something that like you say should be straightforward
