Pull customisation data as an order report

Hi all. Not strictly a handmade question but still. We have several personalised products which need customising before purchase. Im trying to Pull customisation data as an order report but even though I have 'customisation field ’ toggled in order reports settings, they dont download. I had a search and found a post on here from back in 2018 with someone from Handmade saying it isn’t yet possible (even though the option is there in report settings). It still isnt, two years later!

Does anyone have a neat way we can pull this info as a report for the last x number of days of orders in order to have the customisation data as excel fields??

Hi

I have been wanting to find the same report for a few weeks. You probably won’t like the answer but I couldn’t find a way and had to do it manual. This is such a shame, don’t know if this is because we have an Handmade account or not but this is something that should be quite easy to put in place though.

There is no way to do this using the reporting but it is definitely possible using the API - even though all responses I have seen from Amazon say that it isnt.
We have a script that pulls down our orders from Amazon and then calls the relevant customised URL to pull down the customisation information and then insert the data into a spreadsheet - pretty much exactly what you are after.
Not sure how technical you are but that is the only way I know to do it and it does work!
