Removal orders not working
Hi guys , happy new year. I’m having issues with making removal orders. I got orders from Etsy so I thought since all my products are in fba warehouse it would cheaper to create a removal order and send them through that since it’s only 66p. Therefore I can lower my Etsy price as their fees are lower than amazon. But I didn’t know you couldn’t do that and now I can’t make remivalmorder - it keeps cancelling them after 30 mins saying merchant cancelled them. I contacted amazon and it’s been a few days and case still needs an answer from them. I don’t see why you can’t use removalnorders for orders from Etsy - I could just buy the product from amazon and ship them to their address but that would mean I would need a higher price on Etsy . Amazon is really getting on my nerve now an I’m seriously considering stopping, do you guys know any warehouse like fba that store and deliver with way lower fees ?

Why not create a MCF order ?
You cannot create a removal order for customer orders

You don’t create a removal order for what you want to do, you can create a fulfilment order and have Amazon ship direct to your Etsy buyer. Select the item in your inventory, choose “create fulfilment order” and enter your buyer’s info.
I would imagine somewhere in Amazon’s policy it is a violation to use removal orders to fulfil sales.
Removal orders can take a long time for Amazon to process and get back to you - weeks in some cases

In total essence, it’s just greed because removal orders take forever to complete , and they still charge 66p and storage fees so what’s the harm in not doing them. Aim seriously considering stop selling on here for that reason omg

So you really think that Amazon are going to deliver your Etsy orders for 66p when it would probably cost you £3.20 to send them yourself via Royal Mail?

Really for this MCF orders are the only way to go. Amazon have set times for these to be despatched and delivered (normally 3 days including weekends). You can then guarantee to your customers that they will be received on time.
I would stay clear of a removal order as there are no guarantees on how long these take to be despatched. It may take longer than the delivery time you set on Etsy and you will end up with customer complaints.
I would also think you could end up in trouble as it is probably a violation to use removal orders for this. Even if it is not and one of your customers also sell on Amazon they could end up linking your accounts which could cause both you and your customers accounts to be suspended.
As for other fulfilment centres I don’t think you will get it cheaper than Amazon unless you can guarantee a good volume of despatches.
I don’t think £3.50 for Amazon to despatch an item is too bad. I pay this for some of my MCF orders I just price my items accordingly to cater for the cost. Normally despatch is next day seven days a weeks and your item gets delivered in 24 hours…it is a good service which leads to good customer satisfaction. Even when I had an order go missing I had a reimbursement within 6 hours of raising it with them.

The state of the packaging that Amazon use for seller removal orders is not always ‘new’. I certainly would not want my customers to receive such packaging. Often it looks like it has been wrapped by 3 year olds. Personally I don’t care as it serves it purpose, that being to return to us… not customer.
