Reports for Accountant

Could someone share with me please how they record Amazon sales etc for accounting and which reports they use/invoices? There are so many different reports I haven’t got a clue which ones are the best to use.

I used to use the fortnightly disbursement statements to record the Overall Sales, then put the fees etc as expenses. However now I’m registered for standard rate VAT I’m not sure this is the best method as it doesn’t show the VAT charged etc.

Any help would be appreciated.
