Request a Review Button
Hi,
I want to get reviews to strengthen my store. There is a “Request a Rewiew” button on the order page for this. But when I click on it, I get a warning.
The warning is as follows;
"We don’t require you to request reviews because our systems already do that at no cost to you. It is against Amazon Policy to make repeat requests (per order) for a product review or seller feedback. By using the ‘Request a Review’ feature, you agree not to send any additional review requests via buyer-seller messaging.
When you use this feature, we will send the customer an email requesting product and seller reviews for this order. We automatically translate review requests to the customer’s preferred language.
Are you sure you want to request a review for this order?"
What is the reason for this warning? If amazon doesn’t want us to do that, why is there such a button?
Would you recommend that I use this button for all my orders one by one? Or how do you use it?? Does it have an effect?

if amazon are warning your not to keep requesting reviews then i wouldn’t press it
as you sell FBA, they already send requests to buyers on your behalf to leave feedback and reviews
And if you are selling on the listing from your other thread - against several competitors, reviews won’t make a different to your buy box eligibility anyway - its seller feedback you need
