Return duplicates
A customer order a product in Nov and received it, they then ordered another of the same 22 days later, which is not uncommon for this and received that, now they have requested to return item as ‘arrived as extra to what I ordered’, but they have requested this 4 times, they clearly ordered it the 2nd time as it is a different order ref but now i have 4 refund requests, I have marked 3 as ‘duplicates’ but they are still there and I am being told to refund them all, how do I resolve this?

Ignoring the reasoning for the return, the customer can still return either of the orders for any reason.
I would have through though that the Prepaid Return Label and Refund at First Scan should normally apply (unless the items are hazmat or you’ve excluded them for being over £100)
You would only need to refund the once though, if refund at first scan hasn’t taken place.

If they’ve ordered it twice then return requested it 4 times, it sounds like its been requested then cancelled for another return code. You only refund once, they’ll likely all say refund applied. Was this before refund at first scan?

It appears to me the buyer is abusing the Amazon own returns policy too many returns is against Amazon returns policy. Sometime back there was article in the media which said Amazon were blocking buyers accounts who had too many returns.
Just for information we had the same issue the buyer placed four orders of the same product, different times and returned all four orders different times. It appears to me they wanted to show a high number of returns?. When a buyer is refunded Amazon loses 10% of the order value and the seller loses outbound shipping costs and or repackaging costs if the order is not returned in a resalable condition. The deductions to the refund can be applied once the seller has received the order back using the safe-t claim process.
