Most of my items are letter format and, due to recent FBA fee increases, I'm changing back to Fulfilled By Merchant after a long time using FBA.
FBM has become much more complicated since the days you could stick a stamp on and put in a letter box, so I want to make sure I understand the process before I start.
I know the metrics I need to maintain (VTR, business invoice rates etc) and Buy Shipping First/Second Class Letters is supposed to be exempt from counting towards VTR, but what do I need to get from the Post Office when I drop my items off? I could ask them but they don't always understand amazon stuff.
Do I have to stand there while they scan every item in, and then get proof of shipment?
Is there something I need to plug back into amazon to make sure they are VTR exempt?
Can orders just go into a letterbox?
This information seems hard to find on amazon help.
