SFP when using Royal Mail

Is it at all possible to maintain the performance required for SFP if using Royal Mail? Also - I hear DPD are struggling as well so that may not even be an option?

I wouldn’t imagine so with the strikes currently.
DPD are affected as well, simply because of the uptake. And of course the time of year.
Though things should settle somewhat as conditions ease.

But are you able to use Amazon Logistics instead?

Personally if using Royal Mail then I would turn off SFP as Amazon will not protect your metrics, and it seems the problems with Royal Mail are here to stay for the moment.

So is it fair to say it’s not possible to operate as SFP at the moment, no matter what?

We have been using SFP fine throughout peak/strikes and no major issue to our account - using Royal Mail only (Tracked 24).

I have premium turned off at the moment, until I hear that things are back to “normal” its just not worth the risk, I don’t sell much so it would only take 1 late delivery for me to be on the naughty step for a month :stuck_out_tongue:

Well I know in the forums many suggested extending handling times, turning off prime etc. But there also many who continued as normal.

Of course it is a risk with Amazon and depends how you interpret the wording from them about how they would extend delivery times to customers or protect account health.
