Isn’t that required to pay company tax?
VAT is something you have to pay when you sell to private customers. You take the VAT from the private customer on behalf of the State Tax Authority.
Don’t ignore this. Contact Seller Central and tell them you sell on the side, as a hobby (might classify you under different rules). Else, you could probably registrer a proforma VAT number if you have a Sole proprietorship Company. I don’t know the details about how much revenue you need to have before VAT kicks in as such, but we haven’t been asked about that at all, so it might be a requirement from Amazon.
