HI. I’m selling Food Supplement products in UK. I have been requested to provide pre-market notification. There is a list of authorities provided on Amazon Help page where to receive this document in all EU countries and Turkey but no UK. Can you please help with this? What is pre-market notification in UK? Is there any specific authority responsible for issuing documents? Would be really thankfull for any information. Thank you

What supplements are you selling ?
I have not heard of this before for UK. It is something you need to do in the US. This is from the FDA website.
"The manufacturer or distributor of a new dietary ingredient or of a dietary supplement that contains a new dietary ingredient must submit a notification to FDA at least 75 days before introducing or delivering for introduction into interstate commerce a dietary supplement that contains the new dietary ingredient.
21 U.S.C. 305b(a)"
Have you checked the supplement against existing regulations to see if it is legal to sell in UK ?

Also are you trying to register in more than one market by any chance ? We sell in the UK and have never had this notification but I have also never tried to sell appetite suppressants.

Hi,I also sell Fat Burner in the UK, and in the UK I was only asked for one of these certificates: GFSI/HACCP. After I listed the product on the European market, I was asked only for Europe and not for the UK to present “1. Pre-market notification or proof of submission / receipt of notification to local authorities for the Food Supplement product you wish to sell.”
I want to ask if anyone knows a company that can handle the registration of these certificates, or where I can get them?
