This is the 2nd time I’ve received this email from seller-performance@amazon.co.uk:

Hello,

We are contacting you because you appear to have violated the following policies on Amazon.co.uk:
– Misuse of Ratings, Feedback, or Reviews
– Misuse of Sales Rank
– Misuse of Search and Browse

Prohibited behaviors on Amazon.co.uk include, but are not limited to:
– Hiring 3rd parties to try to improve ASIN rank and/or reviews
– Sending packages to addresses where the recipient does not order or expect them
– Soliciting or accepting false or fraudulent orders
– Placing orders for your own products
– Compensating buyers for purchasing your products (including claim codes)

I can categorically state that none of the above is true.
I opened a case with SS when we got the first email who were no help when I asked, “What event may have triggered this email”?
They advised emailing to see if they could help - they couldn’t. They just replied back with the message below:

"Our previous e-mail was intended to bring our policy to your attention.

Anyhow, does the message title “Your Amazon.com selling privileges have been removed” mean that it’s nothing to do with the Uk site?
Really annoys me when they send you messages like this and can’t back it up with any evidence or facts.
Can anyone help?

We’ve had this too. We first had the email at the beginning of April, then another a couple of weeks later and now just had a third. It’s really concerning waking up to an email saying your selling privileges have been removed, to then find it’s not true.

Got another notification this morning - that’s 3 times since the 19th May. Going to call them today and give them a piece of my mind.

Do you products have a lot of reviews on them?

Just rang SS. They tried spouting and quoting the rubbish in the email, so I got quite shirty with her, asked her name, asked for evidence of why this was happening, asked for documentary evidence of my call, told her to report it to her supervisor, told her I would hold her personally responsible, told her that Amazon were messing with people’s livelihoods etc etc

She promised she would write up the case immediately, inform her supervisor and get back to me.

Sometimes it pays to get a bit indignant!

It is also a potential route to account suspension, so be mindful. Obviously wasn’t party to your call so may not apply, but worth being aware.

We have had this email again. We have also noticed that one particular asin is receiving lots of orders that are ending up cancelled. We have an ongoing support ticket regarding the multiple cancelled orders (we are talking 100 orders per week for a single asin) but had not linked the two.

Will get on to seller support now. Thanks for the tip @anglozone

we didn’t get this email but we have also noticed in past 4 days 400 orders ordered and cancelled to run our stock down so they can sell. we have contacted SS.

question is how do we know who is doing all this? items are going out of stock after few minutes of us putting back on.

is there any way?

help would be very much appreciated

i had this issue before, i changed all my items so no one can order more than a small amount (say 3 per item per order). it made it stop for me after they couldn’t order 100’s at once.

Thanks I have changed the listing but every other minute there is cancelled order on 2 particular items.

Please can I managing director email so that I can report them as SS is no help.

received the email last night contacted SS and they say our account is in good standing.

this the 1st email. although orders are still coming through. No notification in Seller central.

please help do I need to do anything. We did send email to seller performance regarding 100s of cancelled orders with order numbers but no reply.

Go to help then at the bottom of the page click ‘get support’.
Go through the process to choose a problem, then after the jumping through of many hoops you should get to an option where you can email support or have them call you.

Just keep chasing them and get them to send you an email stating that you account is in good standing - that will help with future emails of this sort.

The only way we have managed to overcome this issue is to withdraw from the ASIN that was being abused. Unfortunately, however, when we applied for the Amazon loan that we were ‘preapproved’ for, Amazon Lending brought these warnings up as policy violations. I explained to them that we had been reporting the abuse of the listing for months and nothing has been done about it. Amazon are simply not interested.

now we get this in our seller central notification I have been trying to contact SS but no reply.

I have already sent cancelled order numbers via email to amazon.

our listings are active and also FBA is active as well.

please help.
