The value (XYZ) does not meet the minimum length limit for attribute GTIN

HI,
Quick question here please, I’m trying to add some variations to my parent listing and I used the GTIN-13 code from GS1

I’m getting same error 90205 saying that the code length is too short. Has anyone navigated this problem recently? The code from GS1 has 13 digits, what can I do?
