Brand name vs generic

Hi,

I want my store name to appear under the listing but when i put my store name in brand section (while creating a new listing) it asks for the brand approval.

My store name is not approved as a brand yet. Rather than listing new products as generic i want my store name to appear under the listing title rather than generic or a brand name.

not sure, what i am doing wrong here- please help!!!

Thanks

Is your store name an actual brand?
If not, then you simply can’t.

You need to list the product with the brand name of the product, or if it’s generic, use Generic!

You’ve got brand approval and brand registry - 2 different things

Brand registry requires an active uk trademark and brand registry registration with amazon

Brand approval requires neither

As you try to add your name to the brand field, you should be prompted to apply for approval for said brand name

Click it and you’ll be asked for proof in the form of product images with said branding

Note , for both of these, the items must be your own products that you have had manufactured for you

They cannot be another branded product

if i do not register a brand via brand registry, can i still get GTIN Exemption and brand approval for my own brand through submitting required forms or best to get GS1 barcodes and then brand approval?

thanks for helping
