FBA Label Service requires units to be already labeled?

Hello,

I'm working with a manufacturer who can't label each unit they produce. I want to use Amazon's FBA Label Service to handle the labeling. But I saw on this (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/200483750) Amazon page that each product needs to have a label to use the service.

This is confusing since I need the service because I can't label the units myself. I'm sending a single box with lots of the same product (one FNSKU), not different ones.

Anyone else had this problem? How can I use the FBA Label Service without pre-labeling?

(I mean FNSKU labels, not box/shipment labels.)

Thanks!

Amazon has to have *some* barcode to scan before they can label it for you.

My suggestion....have your manufacturer send the box to you...you label with the FNSKU label and then you send to Amazon. Yes it's an extra step, but especially as a new seller (which I'm assuming you are), I think it's super important that you understand every step.

Hello @Seller_2uH5NIh2TfAX3 @Seller_z3XfkorVSmnEY gave you some good information.

As you saw in the FBA Label Service help page: To be eligible for the FBA Label Service, products must (among other requirements) "have a single scannable barcode (GCID, UPC, EAN, JAN, or ISBN) that corresponds to an ASIN in Amazon’s online catalog."
