Counterfeit accusation- not sure what documents to provide
Hi, I had a product removed and need to submit the following to make sure it goes back on Amazon. As i make the item myself(I created the listing and I’m the only seller) I’m not sure what to provide, are receipts to and from myself acceptable? What about the receipts for the parts used to make the items from other bsuiensses? Thanks so much for any advice.

Hello @TeesBox,
From your post I understand that you need help in the appeal process to reactivate a listing that was removed due to authenticity issue.
If you are the manufacturer, you can submit the invoices of the raw materials that is used in the making of your product and any documents confirming that it is your own brand and you have it registered.
If you are unable to provide any documents, I recommend that you submit a plan of action to make your appeal strong.
A plan of action must contain 3 key points.
- Root cause: Try and understand the “why, what, who, where and how?”
- Why do you think the buyers felt the product could be inauthentic?
- What could have gone wrong in the manufacturing?
- Who is responsible? Is it is a human error? Or a machinery issue?
- Where? Could the product be damaged during transit making it look like an inauthentic item? Or was it in your warehouse that something could have gone unnoticed?
- Corrective Measures: What have done about it?
- Once you identify the primary root cause, what could you do or have already done to fix it?
- Preventive Measures: How can you control it? Think long term!
- Think about the changes you can make that will help you avoid similar issue in the future.
- Mention the steps that you can actually implement in your business.
Once you are ready with these points, you can respond to the original notification and our team will review and help you accordingly.
All the best and Stay safe!
