Funds of over £61,000 on hold for over 2 weeks and no response on the cases
Hi,
We have been selling on Amazon for over 13 years with an excellent account health. However, over £61,000 of our funds have been held for over two weeks without any explanation.
The only possible reason we can think of is that our EU accounts are under verification; we've submitted all required information but the review is taking too long. This delay is causing severe cash flow issues, preventing us from paying for our containers on the port resulting in storage charges. We are also unable to pay wages, suppliers and other bills.
Despite repeated calls to Amazon, we are told someone will respond within 24-48 hours, but nothing has been resolved. Our business is on the verge of closing down. We urgently need a solution and don't understand why our UK shop is affected by the EU verification process if that's the reason.
Please provide or suggest a quick resolution as we are in a desperate situation.

This is only a sellers forum, but my advice would be to go legal immediately and get a letter before action sent to their HO by registered mail. This may cost a few hundred, but it sounds like you have a business to save. Going via their pathetic AI support routes will just waste your time and cause far more anxiety.
