The value 'FIGURINE' specified cannot be used as it conflicts with the value 'TOYS_AND_GAMES' for ASIN Z
I constantly get this error message on our listings: "The value 'FIGURINE' specified cannot be used as it conflicts with the value 'TOYS_AND_GAMES' for ASIN Z in the Amazon catalogue."
I've tried to change the category to a 'Toys and Games' one but still get the error. It means I can't go in and edit any information on any listings with this error as it won't let me save without fixing the error.
Anyone else come across this and worked out a solution?

This is a common problem. Effectively there is a conflict between what you have contributed and what Amazon deem the category to be. I'm unsure as to why this happens, and it shouldn't happen.
You can try 2 things:
Firstly, try a full "update" in a file upload where you change the category of the product.
Secondly, delete the item entirely and re-list (ideally with a different EAN if possible), or if not just delete, wait for a day or two, and re-list with the same EAN under the new category.
Failing that, you can try a chat with seller support and explain the issue in depth and they may be able to advise you better. If you are the brand owner then you should be able to make changes to your listings.

I get this a lot. Generally when you get seller support to understand the issue they tell you to list it as the ASIN it is suggesting to make it active and then open a case to get the changed made. Send them photos with proof or what you are wanting to change it to.
