Expiration Date on Products

Hi,

I wonder if you can help me.
I have some items that don’t have a written expiry date on them.
They expire after opening (written on the packaging)

From looking online, I think I have to do upload an attributes file which I have filled out, but I can not work out where I am meant to upload this to in seller central.

Thanks for the help,

Amy

FBA or seller fulfilled?
If FBA, you put the date in when sending the item in to Amazon. They look after it then.
Otherwise I’m not sure, but would have thought that it was just up to you to rotate your stock as required.

It it’s an expiry after opening this isn’t a fixed expiration date so doesn’t need up be uploaded. As an example most shampoo expires 12 months after opening, but isn’t considered an expiration dated product.

Hi,

I have set up Expiry-dated Product attribute as ‘TRUE’. Therefore, I assume Amazon knows an expiry date is needed. However, there is no opportunity to fill in expiry date all the way until i print labels for FBA.

Amazon says expiry date is mandatory in my category, but there is no indication where to fill such info in.

Many people must have done it correctly, as their products are selling, but I haven’t found a way yet.

Anybody any ideas ?

Thanks.
