Read onlyHello, my account has been section 3 suspended. Amazon wants the invoices from the place where I bought the product, but I bought the product from amazon.com and it does not accept the invoices from its own. My business address matches the information on the invoice. We will never buy products from Amazon from now on. We will only buy through companies, but how can I recover my account? I need your support on this matter. Thanks
Amazon will not allow you to buy from Amazon, to resell on the site, as they will not be proper invoices, just receipts, I assume.
You will probably have to write an appeal telling them that you will not buy from Amazon again.
Do you buy everything else currently from proper wholesalers?
Did you get a 'suspected intellectual property violation'?
You usually get an 'at risk' notification where you can submit required information (i.e. proper invoices). If you do not have all the required information then just submit what you have.
Amazon will then probably send you an email saying 'evaluation complete - not accepted'. At this point when you click 'submit new information' Amazon will give you the opportunity to basically accept the fault via some check boxes. At this point it is easier (without proper invoices) if you accept the fault and then delete the listing. 24 hours later the violation should be removed.
As long as you are not a repeat offender then that should be the end of it. If you do not accept the fault then the violation will stay on your account for 180 days and repeat offences will get you suspended.
Retail arbitrage, where you buy retail (and this includes Amazon themselves) and not from an authorised wholesaler, is never a good idea on Amazon. You cannot advertise such goods as being new.
I have been through this process myself quite recently. Several years ago a local wholesaler went into administration and I bought some Disney stickers from the auctioneer's tasked with selling the stock. The items have not been a great seller and I still have some left. However, recently Amazon sent me a 'suspected intellectual property violation' for using images belonging to Disney. Of course the image was of the actual sticker and how can I sell something without a picture? Amazon would not accept the invoice as it was 1. too long ago (they wanted one dated within last few months) and 2. the invoice was actually from the auctioneers and not from the wholesaler. I suppose in Amazon eyes it was a form of retail arbitrage - but in reality it was a supply from a wholesaler (albeit indirectly via the auctioneers). Anyway I have removed the stickers from sale and will sell on some other site instead.
