Product Name on Manage Inventory Page doesn't update

Hi Guys,

Bit of a newbie to seller central so getting my head around it all.

I’m currently looking at my “Manage Inventory” page. When I click edit a product, and change the name, the updated name doesn’t seem to reflect in the product name column on the manage inventory page. If I click edit again, I can see the updated product name so it appears to have saved just not updating the manage inventory page. Is this a known bug?

Thanks
Barney

It sounds like you probably do not have listing control of the ASIN you are attempting to change. If you wish to change it you will need to ask seller support to do so, providing them evidence of why the change is needed - typically packaging photos or manufacturer website links.

When you make any update to a listing without having the listing control, you may see it in the edited state in your account, but you should always verify it with the actual detail page on Amazon.

In most cases, if you don’t see it being updated within a few hours, then it indicates Amazon did not consider your updates to be relevant and you will need to request any changes by a different way.

Open a case with the Seller Support under “Products and Inventory” - “Product page issue” and “Fix a product page”.

You will be asked to provide some proof supporting your desired updates, such as a link to the manufacturer’s website and if they accept the changes, only then they will be reflected on the site.
