First step is to check whether the product was really recalled. Was it?

In this case, what are you planning to appeal?

If you mean to reinstate the product, it will be tough, mainly because getting a Letter of Compliance is not easy from larger companies. The process is laid out here: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/external/A67MCULL8TFREGA
Without the Letter of Compliance, you are most probably doomed. But if you can get such a document, just follow the process.

Hello @Danya ,

This is Vans from Amazon to help you with your concerns.

A recall occurs when a manufacturer, brand, or government regulator requests a product be returned due to potential safety issues or product defects. Amazon prohibits anyone from selling products subject to recalls and market withdrawals, regardless if they are publicly announced or not.

If a product offered by the Selling Partner is recalled, they are responsible for complying with our policies, such as the

Recalls and Market Withdrawal Policy for Sellers , as well as applicable law.

This listing was deactivated because the product is the subject of a recall and additional steps/information are needed from you.

  1. Remove all inventory for the recalled product, regardless of the lot code, batch date, expiration date, serial number, etc., from Amazon fulfillment centers. (FBA Only)
  2. Refer to the email sent by the Amazon Global Product Safety and Compliance team for a URL to identify the recalled units.
  3. Once you have identified the recalled units, you should work with the manufacturer on the next steps for those units.
  4. After removing the inventory, you should submit a Letter of Compliance to have their listing reinstated. You should submit this letter through the ‘Appeal’ button next to the deactivated listing on the AHD and include the following information:

– A PDF or Word document letter from the manufacturer, on the manufacturer’s letterhead, and signed by a relevant stakeholder,

– A brief statement (1-2 sentences) of the reason for the recall,

– ASIN and product requested for reinstatement,

– Details on how the current/incoming inventory is not subject to the recall and is compliant with all regulatory standards

Kindly keep us posted if you have any further queries, seller forum community are always ready to help you.
