Amazon has become incredibly unstable

We're dealing with an unbelievable situation with Amazon right now over one of our brands, BrandXZ. This brand has always been purchased from a single, reliable supplier, and we've been using the same invoices Amazon has already accepted many times. Just 6 months ago, we underwent a full **supply chain verification**, including a video interview, and passed with no issues. Using these same invoices and supplier, we even got ungated in other product categories.

Now, after receiving an authenticity complaint on one ASIN, we provided Amazon with every piece of documentation imaginable—**invoice from the brand owner through our supplier, tracking IDs, bank statements, transaction confirmations, and supplier email communications**. We’ve submitted a total of 21 appeals, escalations, and everything else possible. Still, every submission has been flatly **refused**.

In the past 6 months, Amazon has become incredibly unstable as a platform to sell on. Yes, they provide an easy way to drive sales, but as sellers, we're at their mercy. They can shut down our listings and cut off cash flow with barely any transparency or fair review process.

To add to this frustration, we’ve had **8 other strong-selling brands blocked without warning**, leaving over **$78,000 in stock sitting in Q4**. Amazon doesn’t seem concerned about sellers' situations, especially now when they have more sellers than ever and rely more heavily on automated filtering systems. It’s disheartening to think that Amazon’s priority is no longer the partnerships it once had with sellers, and it shows in the lack of support and inconsistent application of their own guidelines.

Has anyone else been facing these issues, or found a way to break through these repetitive rejections? It feels impossible to get a fair assessment of our case.

We are getting listings shut down due to medical device violations when the products are not medical devices. No option to appeal through the violation.

One thing you don't list in the documents submitted is an LOA from the brand, perhaps you already have submitted one but if not it may well be worth including.

Amazon is an entity rather than a being hence having no empathy. With so many sellers joining each day it can afford to cut people off while they do a slow investigation and for every active seller on here the available slice of pie gets smaller every day. More customers are the difficult thing to get as it reaches saturation in many markets, sellers are two a penny.

The savings it makes globally by automating so many systems is huge for Amazon but frustrating for sellers who can't understand what is wrong with the submissions they make. With other sellers often filling the void Amazon is not incentivised to change its systems. It should also be remembered that Amazon is up against many disingenuous sellers that is has to protect itself against too so sometimes the lines get blurred.

All you can do is try to escalate your case to the MD email and if that doesn't work progress to mediation. Although there is the threat of a fee it is at this point you can be sure human eyes will read your submissions and the point that many disingenuous cases will be dropped when the party becomes aware it will both cost them and their evidence will be gone through with a fine tooth comb. I believe most cases are resolved one way or another before the fee becomes payable and if you win Amazon pays the fee. Unfortunately all these things take time.
