Holiday advice
Hello helpful forum,
I’m due to go on holiday in a few weeks and wanted some advice, there is no-one to run things while I’m away so just wondered what other people do. My stock is mixed between FBA and seller fulfilled (non prime) I thought about just adding seven days to my shipping template then FBA runs fine and I get an extra week to post stuff but I figured people will order and then complain when not there in a few days whatever the estimate is.
I don’t mind taking the hit by putting everything on holiday for a week but will it affect my buy box and everything turning it off and on like that.
Any advice would be appreciated
Tom

Your FBA listings will continue to sell regardless of holiday mode.
But I would recommend that you put the FBM listings on Holiday.
Yes, you can extend the shipping times and may get one or two orders, but if there is any kind of issue with it, your going to get unhappy customers.
You also need to make sure that you have the ability to respond to customers emails.
Yes, it will effect the ranking of products if you are private label etc, but it won’t effect anything else.
Simply because your not selling anything and ranking will go down.

if it was only for a couple of days I’d say just add on to your handling time, but as you are going away for a week I’d advise holiday settings,
