Yes - Legally, to do any selling in the UAE, you need to have a valid trade license.
Various options are available at different price ranges. You can search the internet & gov websites to explore options. Price ranges from AED1000 up to AED18000 - depending on what you select.

I am not affiliated with any License Registration committee in UAE.
My own license is From Sharjah Media city (SHAMS) the 0 Visa package with 1 year Validity
The E-commerce license (They call it Media License) will cost you around 6,000 AED
