In general, you can contact buyers only to complete orders or to respond to customer service questions.The only approved method for communicating with buyers on Amazon is through the Buyer-Seller Messaging Service.

Had PM too from the the OP - item has been sold but no actual stock. I advised to cancel the order, which will effect the metrics.
OP wishes to mark as dispatched, then contact the buyer to tell them its no in stock and agree a cancellation. Advised that this is NOT how it should be processed.
