Hi, I am trying to add a secondary user. When I click continue to go the verification page I get this message:

This secondary user cannot be added on this account with this email address. Please use an alternate email address
The user that I’m trying to add also has his own amazon seller account under that email. Is this the reason? If so, how can I add him as a secondary user? Because amazon does not allow a person to have two accounts, so how can he have another email?

Yes its the reason
You’d need to add him as a secondary user using a different email address
However, if he already has his own Amazon account and is being added to yours too you must ensure you don’t list on the same asins and be aware too that if either yours or his account is suspended in the future, the are both linked and the other may find itself suspended too
I’d definitely question the need of him having a login on your account
